Black cranks! on a singlespeed! no no no.

Good cranks BTW, using them on my only bike and they're so trouble free I can't remember if they are square taper or not.

I've had both the uno and white industries eno. Liked both. I had an uno chainring shatter on me (that was a long walk) but it was replaced without question. At least with the uno if you decide to run it as a double or triple you only need to buy another spider.

no. must be a funny q factor or something. felt like they pedaled funny compared to a number of other bikes with other crank systems. i expect it was just me. shame cos they cost an arm and a leg and look nice. 🙁

I had a Middleburn spider shatter on me too but it wouldn't put me off buying them again, the cost did that. 😉

I used to have an uno too and it was fine, did the job but tbh I had it 'cos it looked good.

cove123 - have you found a good / sensibly priced supplier for the Uno crankset? I've been looking at them too...

hungry monkey - youd need a very long axled BB to get the rohloff chainline with an UNO ring IMO. Alos when Ive asked Middleburn chappy he said he did make a 36T uno but it was 1/8" not 3/32" - im guessing for strength, so even if he did a 38T you would need to run a chunky chain.

I think Middleburns are lovely cranks though.
