Coast path. Illegal but good fun and sketchy in places. Steep too. Worth dragging yourself up to Dartmoor as you're going to be thereabouts anyway.

Any way marked routes or easy to follow routes around the area ?

Map reading skills are limited 🙁

Only waymarked stuff is at Haldon. Excellent riding but at the moment, there's only about 45 mins worth of marked trails. There's plenty of other stuff up there but you'll need a guide to show you. Worth posting on here to see if any locals can show you around. There's a pretty large presence of SW riders on here and there's always something going on. Best bet for a big day out is Dartmoor. World class.

Yeah, cheers trailmonkey, I will post something up on the various forums that I use nearer the time to see if anyone could guide me around ?

I did the red route at Haldon last year at the end of my visit, so time was a bit limited, but it seemed pretty good.....I remember seeing a freeride area and some freeride riders etc

True though. I gave a Brixham girl a lift home from work, on my way to see my wife in hospital after she'd just given birth to our son. This Brixham girl knew this but it didn't stop her inviting me inside because "you must be missing 'it' at the moment."

Shameless (although, I'm sure she would have been tremendous fun)

Yer lucky bastid, it's never happened to me 'cos all my kids were home births 😉 Any chance of a MM route from Greenway Quay to this girls house. I could take my folder over on the Greenway ferry and pedal to her gaff within the hour!

Yeah, and you might need to start a 'What Rubber for riding around Brixham?' thread nearer the time 😉

I found out last night that the GF had been reading this topic and will probably read this message too......'hello darling' !

I found it quite funny, as she is not a biker! I think she was a little pi$$ed off with me that I always feel the need to take the bike away with me every trip/holiday...

Is this unreasonable behaviour ? 🙂

In my defence I dont ride all that much when I go away, just a couple of hours here and there...just nice to go off, ride and explore...
