I quite like the idea of getting a SS as a spare low-maintenance commuter bike. The Single Malt looks good vfm, anyone got one?Linky

Can't see any obvious faults with it myself. Mudguard/rack mounts, reasonable looking set of brakes (not those awful side-pull ones) its cro-mo frame rather than high-ten like those really cheap ones too.

I like the way the back brake cable is clipped on so when set up as a fixed wheel you can take it off without leaving evidence.

Was looking at that yesterday - they've made a nice job of it.
Bit of a dodgy crankset, but all looks great vfm.

I was expecting a thread on pricey whisky 🙁

Shame I didn't see this after by pub bike was knicked, I'd have been sorely tempted.

EDIT: the 56cm would be for 5'10?

Sooo, for 6'1"/32 inside leg............56cm a bit small and the 59cm a bit big? *thinking about getting one for student son.......the 59cm would fit me fine 😉 *
