got a porflex 768 and in the process of getting a raceface group-set put on it...got stem handle bars and seat post evolve
want to put a raceface chainset on.
what measurements will i need to take to make sure its the right fit??teeth etc?

You need the width of the bottom bracket shell (it will be 68mm or 73mm)
The new style hollowtech 2 cranks accomodate both so it doesnt matter either way really.
Also, shimano cranks seem to be a better option than raceface i think

Also, the teeth are usually 22/32/44 on a triple ring setup, which will fit fine

Whats wrong with the current one?
Just measure your bb shell width then. And buy whatever crank you fancy
