My OH is interested in these for a commuter/town bike... they any good?

Nexus 7 speed hub and roller brakes, so fairly simple...

About £400 with discounts, but not wanting to throw money at junk if they get a bad rap..

Literally NO reviews online anywhere!

Cheers

I can't comment on that particular bike, but I had a Mango (Point AR) until it was stolen.

Good for what it was (cheap). Took a fair amount of abuse in it's stride. QC was slighty iffy in a couple of places, but nothing that stopped it fulfilling it's purpose of being a bike ! Wouldn't put me off buying another if the need arose.

No problems with the order process/comms etc but this was probably 3/4 years ago now and believe the company has changed hands at least once if not more.....

£1,100 to £400....that's some discount !

They went through a rough patch a few years ago (went bust, got bought out), so there may be some reviews out there that were impacted by that.  I remember them being described as heavy from some other reviews.

Local company to me, they make really nice looking budget bikes. It’s not going to be a lightweight race bike or anything but for the money they look really good and are very well kitted out.
