Just building up an on old hardtail and thought I would fit a set of old Claras that were hanging in my shed. The levers had an inch of play before engaging the piston and the bite point was close to the grip. I gave them a strip down and replaced the master cylinder o ring seals and re bled. No improvement. Is this how they are supposed to operate or am I missing a trick? Anyone had similar issues?
