lost the intructions how do i change it to charge aaa from teh aa setting batteries can't work it out

Just had a look for you, not sure quite what you're asking though. There aren't 'aa' and 'aaa' modes, the aa and aaa batteries sit in different positions in the charger. From there both are the same, put the battery in, press the number associated with that battery, the display will flash, press the current and/or mode buttons to select the charge rate and/or charge function, when you're happy leave it - the display will stop flashing and it'll get on with its business.
