Can anyone advise me here please,
I'm after doing some cylce touring on my Crosscheck.
In the past I have used a EBC trailer, but next time I would like to use panniers.
I already have some Ortileb 'roller' panniers, so intend to use those if possible.
Question is... what rack ?
Been looking at the Tubus range. Wondering if the standard Cargo model would work, or if I should get the Logo one. That would mean the panniers could sit further back (better heel clearance), but also lower.
Not sure how well these would work.
Any idea ?
Well... you could look at the Nice Rack from Surly. It's top dollar but then you just know it will work for ever.
The Logo and Cargo - we sell more Cargo but the Logo is a gem. Lower mounts (makes sense for heavier loads) but does weigh more. It;s just more flexible.
Get the Logo.
