I've got a pair of RockShox Lyrik RCT3 170 which came on a 2018 Nomad xx1 build. I know the bikes 2018 but the Lyriks aren't the latest model that exists.
Are my lyriks 2018 and the new model is 2019? or are mine 2017 and the new model is 2018?

You could try entering the fork serial number on the RS website ( https://trailhead.rockshox.com ), at least you'll get the exact model indicator (Ax, By...). No model year, though.
l.e. If you then click "Service kits" or "Upgrade kits" some of the parts are suffixed with a model year.
Memory is a bit foggy, but IIRC the number after the 'T' in the serial number is model year. I.e. 6=16
Or that might be Fox. Or I might have just made it up.
Don't forget to get a golf clamp. Works a treat.
