Looking at replacing my sensa giulia carbon frame very soon , as im just not happy with the position etc, i need a longer head tube to be more comfortable and so im looking at various carbon frames that wont cripple the credit card at this time of year, the above 3 have similar frames and around about the same price except the planet x is on sale again ๐Ÿ™‚
any good or bad from above

Planet X not having a sale? Hell must have frozen over without me noticing.

๐Ÿ˜‰

To offer a potentially useful comment though - I have a Ribble Sportive 365 and it's pretty good. Nice and stiff, light enough, not uncomfortable - just a bit more "bouncy" than posh carbon, if you know what I mean.

Have you considered a stem with a bit of rise instead of a new frame though?

yeah ive tried a few different stems, think the frame is just too racy and low at the front end, just not happy riding it which is a shame as i love the look of it ๐Ÿ™ ... its done less than 300 miles so its immaculate !

You need a higher front end...more spacers...new fork?

Might be cheaper than a new bike or frame?

Bike discount de sell discounted carbon frames at decent prices, usually cube. Not as cheap as they used to be post brexit though

Could be interested in the old fork if you're selling.

I've got a Ribble pro carbon sat in the garage. Brakes are knackered and now I've got the escapade i can't be arsed to fix em so it just doesn't get ridden.

Make me an offer if you like and you're near Manchester :p

+1 for bike discount; unless you're insistent on carbon, check out some of their alu frames under the Radon brand.

before splashing the cash, which bit of you is not comfortable ? are you feeling brave enough to post a picture of you on a bike

[ok some of us will be nice but some will just take the piss; I'll be nice]

or if you know other roadies, have a ride and see if anyone can spot something obvious

sometimes comfort on the bike isn't solved by new fundamental kit but with the simple changes like moving the saddle

I have the Dolan l'etape. Personally found it very comfy and great fun to ride. Fast enough for me & yet comfy enough for 100 milers. I had a MEKK Potenza before and the difference is quite marked, the Dolan is a lot more stable yet feels more responsive (if that makes sense?).
