Today is track walk day. tomorrow will be first practice sessions.

This season is going to be awesome, the tracks are excellent, several riders are hitting good form together, some decent youngsers are coming through, some wily old pros are still performing....cant wait!

I saw on his twitter that he's doing it today. One of my favourite bits of each round!
He's done it, but it's not be released - he's in the commentary box with Warner too! Hopefully it'll be a tiny bit more like the old Freecaster Days, okay maybe not that wild - but maybe a little bit less polished than of late.

It feels like it's been a long winter - I've been looking forward to the season starting for ages. Now Claudio's track preview is up I consider the season officially started!
My money is is on Loic Bruni for Lourdes. I'd guess either Loic, Brosnan or Hill for the overall.
It's shaping up to be a good season. Loads of talent and some decent tracks.

Well maybe, probably not but you never know.
I think that Simmonds could be an interesting one to watch this year too, he certainly showed he's capable last year.
I'd love ratboy to come back and smash it, but I just don't know if he can come back to the very top so quickly after the injury.
Just watched the course preview, jesus it looks good, no enduro bikes on the podium for this one!
Now that is a proper DH course: None of this BMX track rubbish.
I think Bruni is probably the favourite, because he showed last year he can live with the fastest there is.

Hill could be on the bench, decides tomorrow if a shoulder injury can hold up. Shame if he's not on form. Could of been a contender for a top spot.
Bring on the rain as well. That'll be an interesting watch.

nope, never been done since the Freecaster days, Live timing showing some shocks with Hannah 5s up on Atherton and the rest.
Has it not, bloody hell I am getting confused in my old age, I thought I had watched a couple of qualifying sessions last year, must have just been highlights.

Hill has an injury, not entirely too sure what it is but there may even be doubt for Fort William.
I really want Loic Bruni to win a few rounds, after coming so close last year it would be great to see him finally win, first in quali, winning crankworx, i think this could be his year!
Gutted I can't watch this round as I'm at work this afternoon, the track looks so good. Nice mix of everything. I'm rooting for Bryceland still.
I reckon Rachel for the win, though I'd love to see Myriam get it.
In the men's it'll just be who can make it down fast without binning it.
Can't wait for this to start! Miami Bryce for the win - it would be a great comeback and his interviews crack me up!
I reckon Rach for the womens but the mens is really hard to call! So many racers who could win on any given day atm.
I don't even know who I want to win the mens' race now Hill is out, but whoever gets it will bloody well deserve it!

By the Aussies quali times I reckon a winter of good hard riding has done them a lot of good.
Gee obviously suffering after yesterdays stack....16 seconds down on Gwin (with top 20 qualies still to go)
Am wondering if Gwinn deliberately rejoined the course much lower in quali yesterday, knowing that his dqf would mean he would get to do his race run earlier. That could be a huge advantage on the dry course which is getting more blown out with every run.

On a course that rough and considering how fast Gwin goes, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in this case.
Chromecast's working perfectly here. The coverage seems a big step up to me on previous years. More cameras, better positions, boom cams...
Shame it looks like no one's getting close to Gwin.
