Full sus dry.
full sus dry is a 12 month state of mind for me!
I am out unfortunately. I was feeling rubbish this morning left bike at home, now feel a bit better, annoying. See you next week.
Yeah
Simon - can borrow one of mine if you want to.
30 gears of new XT transmission and big bounces at each end!
I will be in the sauna while you ride but may join you for a beer.
In there for some dry SoCal trails
i will be there.
Good job it is dry - no bike wash tonight due to (delayed) building work
Do any of you log your route? Went up the other week to ride the new old track and everything was destroyed/ underwater- was quite gutted actually I knew the jumps had been bulldozed but hoped the bit by the motorway would of remained unscathed.
Would join you for a Thursday night but shifts/new baby etc all conspire to snatching opportunities being my only option

There are a few Strava logs of the area too
Thank you, actually that was the thread that led to my re visiting a few years ago, sadly most of the trails from there appear to be trashed/ un rideable, I think I rode 'redundancy' (your handiwork I believe) and it was the only full trail. After several dead ends I called it a day, maybe a bit prematurely.
Ping me if you want a very slow guided tour of what remains
WCA and Lummox - If you are arranging a guided tour I would love to tag along if that's ok?
I'm in Winchester at the moment but Thursdays are out of the question for me so am yet to have made a visit to Lordswood.
Sunday morning potter about 10ish?
Perhaps next weekend?
Post up here if you want to join the tour
I would be up for tomorrow morning.
Unfortunately tomorrow will be doing more of this: http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/wca-shed-thread-2-the-landscaping
So it will have to be next weekend at the earliest I am afraid.
Afraid I can't make next Sunday as on duty, half the problem is my shifts not playing nicely.
Thank you for the kind offer though
Could do next Saturday if that's any better
I'm out in Lordswood in the morning with my son,it will be a bit slow but Your welcome to join us 10ish at the end of coxford rd
What's the crack up there at the moment with the 'locals'?
I had an incident early last year where a couple of hooded youths on an obviously stolen MX bike decided they wanted to add a nice MTB to their collection - after making a swift getaway & calling the police they did say there has been an increase in illegal activity & they were trying to monitor it better.
Don't really fancy going up there & getting my bike nicked to be honest!
Been riding up there for many years, never had a problem
As have I, but a few other locals I ride with have also been confronted in recent months, hence my concern.
Can't say I've had an issue in a decade of riding there. Looking straight at youfs and saying "alright" seems to work.
Haven't seen any trouble recently. There was a problem with cars being dumped and burned about 6-7 years ago but the police got on top of that and there was one bloke who had his bike knicked a few years back but as I said, nothing recent though

Thanks for the offer but have already made alternative ride plans for tomorrow.
Hopefully next month I'll have a bit more flexibility to move shifts around to free up a Thursday evening.
