Laast week's man flu turned out to be quite a nasty chest/throat infection so I'm on enforced rest still this week. ๐Ÿ™

Didn't ride in today. Will probably make it next week as I have someone's rear light and someone has half of my rear light.

hi,
i would like to come along if that's ok,
i would just like to check the location i am coming from Burgess road side of lordswood, if i turn right at the Woodsman and just keep going i assume the gas station is the last thing on the left after Dunvegan Dr. (when i look on google maps).
if so will be there just before 7.

richen987,

Yeap that's correct, after the last house the road turns to a gravel track going slightly up hill. Gas works is 50m up this track on left. We meet right by it. The woodsman is no longer signed as its being converted to a tesco, you also have to turn onto coxford road shortly after turning right at woodman. If your coming from Burgess road its easier to go through the sports center. Exit at the coxford road exit by cricket pitches and golf course and your nearly there.

See you there.

There is a bit of a rear light I found on the drive which might be yours Richard. It is in the garage.

Richen - Look forward to seeing you there. Remember this is the SLOW ride. We wait at the start of each trail section to make sure everyone is together and we wait at the end to make sure everyone has made it. Bonus points for comedy moments like someone going over their bars and face planting into the stream all at less that walking pace.

And nice comments only about my new car

all sounds pretty standard and good to me, i have not ridden much since last year so slow is about my top speed, we have just moved to the area, popped up there a while ago but had no idea where i was going, so will be good to ride/meet some new people and have a bit of an explore.

It's the Princess Royal's favourite car, by all accounts.

You're almost family.

Depth testing potential accident spots is an importamnt and selfless part of riding with a group for me. If I didn't go over the brs regularly how would the rest of you know where the dips and troughs were?

I wonder if your refreshing sub-zero dip and your current close to death feelings are in anyway related?

๐Ÿ˜‰

I left your name out on my posting to save the blushes

I'm hoping to be there, work permitting.

I'll be cooking my dinner in my van at my usual parking spot from 6.30pm onwards, so if I'm not there on the way passed, I obviously haven't made it. So dont wait around.

That chassis would make a good bridge.

A nice bridge? Are you mad?

I wouldn't risk riding a bridge with structural issues like this [img] [/img]

You should only trust properly constructed bridges like the ones I build.
