Having just had my box of tools nicked along with lots of expensive spares (like £20 mech hangers and such like)grr theiving B******s. I was hoping to buy the same kit that has lasted very well considering the price! I have had the box of lifeline tools which used to retail at £79 ish on either CRC or wiggle. Where did these guys go because there is not a kit (that I can find) that comes close for the money?
yep, wiggle stopped doing them a little while ago, which is a shame as they were pretty good for the cash.
Nearest thing to it is the Bikehand tool box, which you can get hold of for about £75 if you shop about.
You could buy it under a different name for a while, I remember Rik was selling them at Drumlanrig, he might know? The individual parts pop up in loads of kits- Xtools, Superstar, etc. Shame, it was a great kit.
I think I'd buy the Fat Spanner one if I had to replace mine, or maybe Icetoolz- not as complete a kit but nice quality.
