My Lezyne phone app updated and told me I needed to update my GPS firmware.
Did all that as I usually do and now I can't get phone to connect.
It can see it but doesn't connect.
I've uninstalled the app and rebooted the phone etc.
Have tried un-pairing and re-pairing but doesn't seem to have helped.
As a last resort I reset the unit to factory settings and still have the same problem.
Any ideas?
Hiย dirkpitt74,
There could be a few different things going on, but there are so many variables when GPS troubleshooting that I'd rather not jump to any conclusions. If you're able, can you please submit a ticket to our support site? We have a full time customer service team who will be able to help you out!
Cheers!
That's decent service! Although I had the same with a faulty GPS watch. They were dead helpful trying to sort it out before it went back for replacement.
Yeah, nice one Lezyne...reassuring since i have the micro gps watch 👍
I really do hope Lezyne sort out the navigation, namely the automatic re-routing function on the Y10 Enhanced Super GPS while paired to mobiles using the Android Ally v2 app... It's been a complete undependable mess pretty much all year since the newer MegaXL officially existed.
On numerous Super GPS firmware updates, including factory resets.
On numerous Ally v2 app updates, including the current beta.
Once you deviate from the initial route, the navigation instructions go bonkers, telling you to make turns that don't exist for a couple of seconds before returning to the data page you were using, or simply decides to stop giving direction updates altogether.
What was the problem?ย My iPhone doesn'tย always connect to my super GPS after the last update.
@pmcclure I needed to unpaired from my phone and re pair it.
Used the instructions in this link:
https://support.lezyne.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004090734-Phone-Pairing-Video-included
I also reflashed the firmware which seemed to sort the battery drainage issue.
Used it today and all seems back to normal.
