I spend a lot of time out on the road bike, particularly around the north west of city bradgate/swithland etc. And I always see tonnes of mountainbikers.
I was under the impression that most of the stuff around there is off limits? I've always been tempted to strap on the lights and hit bradgate park at night but they have rangers that live inside the park and seeing those lights they would probably think I was lamping, or worse poaching deer.

i'm off out after the wife and kids have gone bed, whitwick, thringstone, but if i'm pushed for time i have an off road route based around sence valley.
