have decided (yesterday) that me and my fiance both really need a holiday and so the Jubilee week is our only opportunity for a while to get away. We are have looked online for a last minute deal, although it's looking like either awful package deals (sorry if that makes me sound like a snob!) or expensive flights
ideas so far:
camp/drive round Scotland - any suggestions for good places to visit?
take the car over to france and head down to the alps
take the train into europe
need some inspiration!

If you like mountains have a look at the Inghams Lakes and Mountains site for last minute deals. Been to both the Swiss and Austrian Alps with them, dirt cheap and top quality.
Oh, there aren't any British chavs in the Alps in Summer.
