I've only seen a few bits of it in the north, but it is stunning.

A mate's dad does the Maratona Dles Dolomites every year and absolutely loves it, the Dolomites look incredible.

Aosta Valley is my favourite, might be visiting the Dolomites this year for the first time. Italian people are lovely as well.

Was out in italy last year
tdf came through sestriere
beautifull place, epic road
riding.
If you ever want to do one
of the best road climbs ever
do the colle delle finestre,
giro went over in 2005,tarmac
runs out halfway.
Fifty plus hairpin bends, trying
to nurse my litespeed siena up
the gravel part two hours in to
the climb, while the tiffosi rode
their duccati,s down it is what
memories are made of ๐Ÿ˜€

Did some riding around Livigno during a trans-Alp across the Swiss and Italian Alps last October. Amazing place. Can't wait to go back this year.

I love the Top Gear episode where the 3 of them get lost in Lucca! It really is like that though, amazing town!

One of my best mates got married in Barga, just up the road from Lucca in Tuscany, 3 years ago. A whole load of us spent a week out there for the event. Can honestly say it's one of the nicest, most stunning places I've ever been to, and I'd love to go back there. Only if I went back there again, I'd be taking at least one mountain bike, the road bike, a motorbike, and having a whole lotta fun out there! The mountains are amazing, so untouched compared to the UK. Oh, and the food out there is simply amazing, Tomato's so good they remind you just how crap fresh fruti and veg is in the UK on the whole (though they grow there of course, we have to import ours!).

I know! We had our wedding done by the mayor and an amazing meal at a reastaurant called Giglio and our hotel was next door (Universo). 5 years ago now but what a place. Me and the missus both watched that episode of Top Gear. Good times.
