Persevered with some ergon GA1's but they just aren't for me, particularly as I tend not to wear gloves a lot of the time in Summer.

Anyone suggest any lock on grips that might fit the bill?

Pref available from CRC or eBay if necessary.

Cheers!

Oury lockons are wide but also soft.

CRC have some thick easton grips for a tenner in a sale, seem pretty good to me so far!

Deathgrips +1

Buy both sizes and send back the ones you don't want. The "thin" ones are still pretty thick.

Ergon - those little ledges tell you exactly where to place your hands after that Jedi bloke has set them up for you 🙂

I'm liking my santa cruz palmdales after having esi chunky.

Only an inboard lock ring so you can use the full length of the bar.

Deathgrips. Ride gloves in winter, no-gloves summer. Feel good to me. They have are pretty worn after a good years use. Got a bit more in them but they're fairly cheap so happy to replace.

I'm on my second set of Eastons now as they were £10 at CRC, not that the old ones had worn too much, either.

I absolutely swear by ODI Vans grips. I've got shovel hands and I prefer a larger diameter grip:

I find renthal kevlar lock on's to be very good gloveless, especially with sweaty hands. Need a few months riding to bed in properly though, then they last for years.

Thanks guys!

The Eastons are £25 in black... (Sorry, I'm a colour coordination tart) but might be worth a punt.

The Oury seem available from over sea retailers on eBay. Any decent uk sellers though guys?

Thanks for continuing info!
