How do you get to try on Lake shoes. Winter boot time I feel and i'm looking for some alternatives to try to the big S's offerings. Anyone know who has some stock of the winter boots - or any for that matter?

Halfords will get Lake shoes in to your local branch if they don't have them in stock. I used this service about 6 months ago to get two pairs of MX145's in a wide fit to try on.
