Alp D'Huez twice in a day, that's going to be a clean race then.

I'm not sure I really buy that argument. Are you suggesting that people can't ride it twice in a day without cheating? It's iconic but really it's not in itself any worse than other mountain stages where they ride more than on HC.

That's alright Clubber, I'm just f****** off with the whole thing to honest and think that if organisers want clean races they should maybe not design routes that play straight into the hands of dopers.

could all the doping rows just be confined to the 'Lance is great' and 'lance is a bastard' threads?

Never mind Alpe d'Huez - 242km to the top of Mont Ventoux.

It was effing hard when I rode only 172km to its summit.

Have a Didi:

Bastille day on Mt Ventoux ! Twice up Alpe d'Huez - epic.

Cycling needs a good TdF and this being the 100th I really hope its news worthy for the right reasons. I'm excited.

First stage is a sprint finish with no prologue. Going to be carnage...

Why? It's not very difficult to ride at a sensible pace. It's as hard as you make it.

They'll have to do something with the road out the back of Alpe D'Huez to the Col du Sarenne though - it's rough as and has massive cobbled drainage channels across it at the moment.

My girlfriend asked me if I fancied going to watch the stages around Grand Bornand and Annecy for next summer's holiday without any prompting.

Whoop!

could possibly be the greatest Tour ever next year. Contador, Wiggo, Froome, Rodriguez, valverde, Schleck, evans (outsider) and potentially nibali. It also will definately be the cleanest tour ever after this years fun and games.

I'm very excited already to next years TDF. Roll on July

Yeah me too, it's quite possible stage 4 (cagnes to marseille) get sabotage, and I hope it will just to teach the mayor a lesson 😀
