Kona Jake 2010 with Tiagra shifters, can they be used with a double chainset?

To be fair this is more specific,as I can't find the model number of the shifters used on the Kona Jake 2010, and wondered whether anybody else had changed to a double and whether it has worked.

A quick google tells me they'll likely be 4500.
You need to work out if the throw (i.e. how much cable is pulled) is the same as for a double shift. My guess is that it is.

Agree if 4500, then will work according to CRC website.
