Hi,
Ive got a tora solo air 302 130mm fork on my dialled alpine, and its been a very good performer so far. Over the last few days it has developed a kind of knocking noise near the bottom end of its travel, has anybody got any idea why? I took the forks off the bike to check the noise was definitely coming from there, and when you compress the legs it goes about 2/3rds of the way down the travel and makes a kind of "doomf" noise. The forks seem to be performing fine, its just annoying!
Does anyone know how much would it cost to have a set of these forks serviced, and conversely is there a kit that you can buy to service them yourself? I live in the middle of nowhere, so if it was a relatively easy job that I could do myself (im quite handy with the tools) I would prefer this option. I don`t really know what I need though, do sram do a kit?
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Si.
Tf tuned website will probably list a damper service kit. You may have lost some oil into lowers from within tge right stantion. I'm not fully familiar with the tora to be honest though.
