Anyone else on the reserve list for an entry for this year's Kielder 100? Just wondered what's the chance of getting a ride and wondered how soon to the start date I'm might hear whether I'm successful? Thanks
I'm not thinking chances are great, if you are just going on the reserve list now.
I applied about 2-3 weeks after the closing date (ages ago !), and was told I was about 50th on the reserve list then ๐
I've emailed the organiser about buying an entry from someone who now can't do the event.... but no response so far.
Good luck !
Talking to the organisers recently, I'd say there's a pretty good chance that reserve list riders will get a ride. You should hear from them in as couple of weeks I guess.
Joolze, is that because people are pulling out, or are they increasing the entry? I hope its the former, as I can't see where 750+ people are going to fit, unless they're changing the start / finish area?
I heard I was on the reserve list some 3 weeks ago plus. Same as Surfer. Hope we get a ride! Anyone know the total ft of ascent?
12,000 ft has been branded about a lot..
Number aren't increasing they think they might get a few drop outs when the realisation sets in.
I'm offloading my entry atm due to heart problem, waiting to hear from organisers
Oh and a rough idea of what it will entail based on last year.

I'm not riding but will be there as a dogs body.
Anyone know if any more camping has been arranged?
The website has been saying "Other camping arrangements are being planned so check back for more details" for several months, but no more details since. I've tried emailing the organisers, but no response.
I've just handed my entry back, so that'll be another empty space- it was starting to look like a bit much for me..
I've tried emailing the organisers, but no response.
They take weeks to answer emails
Glad I'm in the cosy YHA ๐
