Hi folks. Just wondering if anyone has sized up the following bikes to compare with an islabikes beinn 26s:
Genesis Core26
Hoy Bonaly 26
Pinnacle Kauri 26
Can't find conparative sizing info online, and my 8 yr old lad likes the look of these. He fits the Isla 26 well. Would also welcome any other suggestions! (Stand over on the 26" frog is too high)
Dawes Academy range are well worth a look, we've been selling quite few in 13" and 15" sizes with rigid forks at the £350 mark, and just had a hydraulic disc, air sprung forked model in for a customer at £550.
My money will be going on the orbea when jnr outgrows his bonaly 24
My lads Isla 26 small is due to be moved on if you are considering one.
It was in good nick last time I looked.
My 9 yr olds are on the Hoy Bonaly 24 if it helps (with after market suspension forks). 1 of them is the tallest in his class so they are not teeny. They could fit 26" wheel bikes and can ride their mum's but probably not down the techy stuff.
