I raced last season on Schwalbe Thunder Burts and they were a tiny bit on the 'delicate' side of things (one got me 900 miles done and had to be replaced, the other got me to the end but had to be nursed for the last two days). They both developed splits that the Race sealant was not able to get on top of.....
I used Small Block 8's in 2011 and the Thunder Burts were 5 days faster, so the question is, how do the Saber Pro's hold up and roll like please?

Bump - nobody even tried these tyres?

Sure that was just the tyres? : )
I had a look at them at a show. Too XC-light for my liking, but I'd rather take a tougher tyre over a lighter one for long rides. Rolling speed gains can be more than lost by a ripped sidewall.
