Got myself a 2011 Gary Fisher (trek) Rumblefish 2 and built it with XT 10 speed kit. So far so good , that was until this moring as I took a trip to Afan and rode the Whites level...........All I can say is YES believe the hype. I couldn't get over how smooth fast and easy the up was, felt like I had a small motor stapped to the bike and yes the 120mm front forks feel like alot more. If I thought the climb was good the down a a joy . Did no feel like my firtst real ride so well balanced and very quick but always felt in full control.
I use to have a nice 456 Carbon with long travel Fox floats ( soldthe frame now) and a Trek top fuel 9 and neither felt as good. So all I can say to is go try it I am a 29er convert for sure.
Anybody else have a similar experience ? ๐
I have a Ventana El Rey and I agree that it is measurably faster than it seems and a lot less tiring.
