Got back from Venosc at the weekend, it was great, don't know how they grade their tracks though, the green Cretes track was pretty hard for my wife, who can ride the upper red at Laggan, found the blue Diable run more fun.
The highlight was the red run Venosc, awesome, scary, very steep, the YouTube videos just don't do it justice, 9 year old son loved it big time. We did it a couple of times after it had been raining and the mud, especially at the slate parts, just clogged up the tyres, even the Swamp Things, just added to the fun though.
The Jandri blue track was a problem, we couldn't relax and enjoy it because it was so loose under the tyres. We're newbies really (obviously) and unfortunately only had 2 full days there, at the camp site below the Venosc chair lift. Going to make it at least a full week next time.
