Canyon sell off team bikes on their website, often able to pick up big name bike for 'decent' price.

Gcn did an artical on buying ex pro bikes. Connor Dunne was asked if he'd buy one of his old pro bikes and the answer was probably not. Sounds like you may get a gem but you may also get stuck with a bike that's be used as a training bike, or crashed.
Tt bike would be fairly risk free I assume, given how little use they get.
