[Closed] juicy three diy bleed

Anyone got any experience of bleeding these sucessfully without forking out £30 for the branded kit ?
I've tried a bodge based on plastic airline connectors and one using old-fashioned bicycle pump connector tubes - both work fine on the lever but won't seal convincingly at the caliper end.
I noticed that the bargain kit advertised at Rutland and elsewhere actually says 'will not fir juicy three caliper'
I know I should just get the avid kit but its £30 just for the threaded connectors really - the rest of the kit is available elsewhere for a few bob total !
