Looking at getting an uppy downy post. I've got a Joplin 3 but, like most people it seems, I've had problems with it. So, is the Joplin 4 still prone to side to side waggle and problems with seals and valves?

They can be had damn cheap but I'd rather pay more for something that will work and keep working.

If the Joplin's a no-no, what's the most reliable post out there?

Not that I want to tempt fate but sincing fitting both my Joplin 3 with shock boots, I haven't had to touch them for months

So where are these cheap Joplin 4s then...just out of curiosity?

Look at the fresh goods friday section. Loco are starting to distribute a brand i havent heard that seem more simple in design.

Cheers for the replies. Still undecided. Those ones of Loco's look interesting but a bit of an unknown quantity.

Nuke - saw the cheap Joplins on a French site - xxcycles or something.

I looked at the LoCo ones but after recieving a nice message from LoCo about the overall dimensions it transpires their model won't be short enough for me, so i've managed to source one of only five (apparently) of the 75mm version of the Spesh Command Post Blacklite.
I'm paying £250 'cos i have to go through a Spesh Concept Store but i have seen the 100 and 125mm versions online for £212
