Have you ever thought it's a shame that more kids don't stick with biking when they hit adulthood, or wondered why young'uns seem to get ferried everywhere by their parents, rather than getting places under their own steam?
CTC, in conjunction with UKYouth (who know stuff about youth clubs) and ContinYou (who know stuff about extra-curricular activities)are getting together to set up a project called Bike Club. The goal is to empower more youngsters to cycle, for transport or for fun.
There will be 8 Bike Club officers dotted in various locations around England setting up projects to enable cycling among children and young people aged 10-20. And a manager, who will oversee the whole thing.
