lamb neck fillet marinaded for two days in the fridge in a mix of HP sauce and Heinz tomato ketchup. Possibly add reggae reggae sauce to the mix if you want a kick.

I have some marinading now, and as soon as the sun reappears Im going to christen the new BBQ with it...

Chicken thighs with honey, soy lemon juice and half a star annise
Lamb chops french wholegrain mustard on one side covered with rosemary cook above the grill on a trivet with foil under
simple sliced potatoes with beetroot, aubergine, cougette and half a lemon on BBQ to squeeze over the top
Take a sweet potato and prick the skin rub in marocan spices wrap in foil and chuck on
Asparagus marinated in lemon & honey with pine nuts char grilled

any more?

We usually serve BBQd meats with tortillas as it's easier to handle and leaves room for more meaty goodness.

Butterflied leg of lamb marinated in harrisa, cumin, smoked paprika, olive oil and lemon juice. Serve with flatbread of your choice, roast veg, feta cheese and lambs lettuce.

I heart BBQ

mmmm then there is the fish!!

Sardines whole (not from a tin) salt & pepper with some oil
prawns, lots of whole prawns
1 Whole Red Snapper stuffed with lemon grass ginger, corriander and loads of that stuff wrapped in foil on until done!!

Chicken breast cut into strips. Marinate in chicken tikka paste and yoghurt. Leave in fridge for a week.

Tender and delicious.

If marinating chicken in a hurry, seal it all in a ziplock bag.
