[Closed] Is Tredz one of those shops that don't actually carry their stock?

But put an order in with the distributor instead?

It's saying that it has 1 litre bottles of Joe's Super Sealant in stock even though other shops have been sold out for a couple of months, so I'm worried that they are going to take my money but leave me with a long wait with no way of cancelling. What are people's experiences? It'll be ok if I can cancel after a couple of days, I'm not in a rush..

Yes, there are loads of threads. Give them a call if you want to check real stock. They appear nice to deal with other than the misleading online stock

Yep, but if you order, you can check the order status soon after - if it's not in stock it'll say "on back order" or something like that. If so, chuck them an email and they'll cancel it and refund you quickly, with no hassle.

Is that the same Tredz as this thread, or another one?

Yeah thats the same Tredz, it seems they don't like running a stock update system so they just load up the suppliers stock feeds and set it all to in stock. (Not fact just seems to be the way they are doing it based on how another company I worked for did it)

tredz are good value, they usually delivery eventually. just don't buy from them if you are in urgent need.

i quite like tredz £5 off £30 spend code ECWJ2R
if you are in urgent need go elsewhere,

my last order some ams frame protector and a thule accessory shipped same day as ordered 3rd jan, same as a bottle cage on 20th dec

they usually mail to say item will be delivered by a date if they havent got it, another order in nov/decmeber i ordered part shipped within a few days and rest had a date in 2 weeks, the second item arrived before that date..

with hope tech they definately order in.

Recently ordered a stem off tredz website, nothing for a few days and then an email saying it was on order from supplier and could be 10 days. A moany reply and got a refund. Pee’s me off when they show stock and this happens, so as others, if in a hurry go elsewhere.

Yeah it would be better if they were more honest, informative and transparent

I’ve had things from them arrive quickly and have also had to wait a week or two. When I had to wait they kept me up to date with everything so it didn’t bother me. I will defo use them again.

I've ordered from them a few times.

On the last order they didn't have one of the items - ordered two bottle cages along with a few odds and sods. They only had one bottle cage but they mailed me promptly to tell me -  I mailed them back and asked to delete one of the bottle cages. Ordered sorted and on its way the same day.

I find them really good to deal with .. and there always seems to be a £5 off £30 code available.

Joes isnt out of stock with our distro... we have loads of the 1L bottles, although to be fair we do get through a ton of it so buy in pretty big quantities as a rule -  https://www.bird.bike/product/joes-no-flats-tyre-super-sealant/

I have found that if it states "In Stock -- Dispatched in 1-2 days" it usually is.

If it states delivered in 3-5 or 5-10 days then it is not in stock so expect to wait.

Also for interest Tredz is owned by Halfords Group.
