very hard to tell from looking at a photo. How worn was the last chain on it?
its not mine i might buy it but the second biggest cog looks worn in my opinion but i haven't run gears since 05
I wouldn't buy a second hand cassette - it's just too hard to tell if it is too worn to work with a new chain.
Unless it was at a very good price of course ๐
thanks for your answers
no worries. Are you straying away from the singlespeed fold?
cheers niknak they do look similar.
bassspine possibly i'm selling one frame to fund another the current frame has an EBB where as the new one has vertical dropouts although I can buy horizontal ones also, I'm going to run one times nine until I can source some dropouts then see how i feel.
I hear talk of one by nine but no-one ever seems to suggest three by one. ๐
would that work you'd need a rear mech to tension the chain, bet sheldon brown done it
bassspine - MemberI hear talk of one by nine but no-one ever seems to suggest three by one.
i run 2 by 1 on one of my roadbikes.
best get rid of the pic as the seller is a forum user and don't wanna offend.
