Looking at a Litespeed Sewanee full sus, second hand, no chance of trialling first and no local demo places. I'm just 6', and standard legs/arms I think! I've always been comfortable on hardtails with a top tube of 23-23.5" & seat tube of 19". The Sewanee is a Large which comes in at 24.5" and seat tube of 20".

I know it's nigh on imposs to really judge without trying, but moving to full sus, does this seem OK or more likely to be always a touch too big. Not sure if a more stretched out position will be good on FS or not.

Any thoughts? Cheers

2nd hand Litespeed you say here
Unless you intend on hanging it on a wall, there's better out there tbh.

Sounds like you've already answered your own question. Sizing doesn't change just because of extra bounce

top tube of 23-23.5" & seat tube of 19"

Can you tell us what bikes these would be. Not many (modern) 19" bikes have an effective TT of only 23", so possibly your thinking in actual TT for you old bike?

My old Dekerf hardtail is 19.5" ST and 22.5" ETT, and my Singular ETT just over 23", both with 80mm stems; and I prob find the Singular a tad more comfy (altho I'm comparing 26 Vs 29). Worried that a 24.5" ETT will be too big, or maybe just go with a shorter stem?
