Riding a few spots in wales over the easter holiday weekend and thinking of doing a half day on cli-machx with either a bit of CYB or Nant Yr Arian as the rest of the day. The dyfi mountain bike site says section 8 (which sounds like the best bit) is closed though but I'm not sure if that site is up to date. Anyone know if its open?

Is it worth riding without it? From what i've read, it sort of sounds like the rest of it is kind of XC mediocrity.

The climachx itself, no IMO. But if you have a google there is a lot of excellent riding to be found in that area.
