Gap route.
http://www.mudandroutes.com/archives/routes/the-brecon-beacons-the-gap-by-daveroberts-13112011

This is where the route goes through the Beacons
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=303161&Y=220550&A=Y&Z=115
The route North/South of the marker arrow is a restricted byway permitting access for MTBs.

There's [s]very few[/s] well, none actually, rights of way that would permit MTB access to Fan Fawr. Under foot it's not particularly MTB friendly either. Much better for a yomp.

Long black dashes denote that a track exists, not that you are allowed to ride it 🙁

No riding is allowed on Fan Fawr.

OS map suggests it's all open access land. Wing it and see?

(Put this to get some advice from someone who knows about the status of open access land wrt MTB use).

Hi there, go clock wise from talybont, it really is a classic route, and also you usually have a tail wind climbing up to the gap!

Mmmm, may have to do that route over christmas!
