I've seen someone barrel roll/backflip in one move.

There was a vid on here recently of some dude doing something similar on his bmx from almost stationary. It was really quite something.
The tricks are endless now in BMX. Quad whips, double flips, 1080's, it's hard to know where it will end!

If I remember rightly, Nathan Rennie did an 'off-axis-flip' on an MTB which looked pretty close to a barrel roll. One of the Earthed films...
