Well were talking Veloce 8 speed retro! (more the frame rather than the reused group set etc :@)

I was thinking that, it wasted seconds of my time, shouldn't they be expected to carry a 'beware road bike content' warning. Same for single speed and fixie folk.

๐Ÿ™ - well that's 2 out of 3 - majority rules ๐Ÿ™‚

The fence is offensive, the lawn needs cutting and the steerer needs cutting ๐Ÿ™‚

Edit - some may also not like the stem angle ๐Ÿ˜‰

That is a summer job which never happened.

Those old coal sheds are coming out ready for a new MAN bike shed. No wimmins allowed

saddle seat post and bars all different colours?

if this was top trumps you'd have beaten 'lawn needs mowing' easily.

Charge don't make a green spoon saddle yet. And the red post was cheap and light. I will upgrade to a carbon post and bars soon. The bar tape is ace! I can be easily spoted in photos and it matches my cables.

I would win as my tubs are not glued yet. So I can't even ride them wheels.

Angus, shouldn't that have toe clips and straps to complete that touring bike from the late 50's look?

Just noticed the spacers under the stem on that CR1 !! There's a good 50 gm to be shaved off there!
And Angus has that touring bike, but no mud guards, road traditions and fashions have been abuse on this thread something terrible.

I'm off to watch videos of Jens Voigt to cleanse my eyes.

Now looking for a good deal on wooly tights with world champ stripes on the ankle. That should complete the 50s touring look. Not much carbon around then though.

but at least it would match, what's a little discomfort when measured against a matching saddle and bar tape? Sort yourself out. ๐Ÿ˜‰

If the scruffy white bar tape is aimed at me then how about the triple, two bottle cages and gps mount??!! Let alone the rider who wears baggies, mtb shoes and a small Camelbak. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ ๐Ÿ™„

I just don't care!

Mountain Mutant has had that bike a year, commutes to work on it and has ridden it on a proper road ride precisely ONCE!! Then he decides he needs a set of carbon deep rims for a N.London commute!

Cinnamon girl, while we're at it then.......you've left your dust caps on your valves and your front quick release is pointing forward. That's just asking to get opened in a bunch sprint and give some unfortunate soul a season ender of a crash!

You're dangerous bike set up could ruin a promising road season! ๐Ÿ˜†
