Have you tried to line your valves up?

Yes ๐Ÿ˜‰

BTW its got no decals on it - its awaiting some bespoke ones - its a Ti Prototype Frame from a well know UK bike manufacturer but I wouldn't like to mention which one ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm going to risk it and try and put a pic of my cx bike
HA-HA-HA! Full outer to the front mech? down the down tube? HILARIOUS!

What's so funny? I can say with confidence my shifting will be spot on and effortless through out the year/race

As you can see there is cable stops on the frame for a split cables but there asking for trouble.

Look at the rear that's half cabled.

Come back to me when you have a clue.

I think the problem here is that you've made your bike heavier by having un needed outer cable, not to mention the heavy burden of zip ties.

Youve got, what, 1m? of extra outer which, if youve stopped it before the BB, is utterly pointless. If you stopped it after the bb (clamp under on cable stop under front mech?) it will form a nice U shape which will invevitably fill with water, rust, and create more drag than a dirty BB cable guide.

Without it you would have bare cable all the way to the BB guide, bare cable which will never cause drag. The BB guide may cause drag, but only really if you dont use a stainless cable and it rusts (do they even make non-stainless gear cables these days?).

ANyway, the point we are making, full cable outer is great... if you run it on the TOP tube, where it actually has an effect and cant pool with water.

I have a avid water proofer thingy packed with grease. I under stand what your saying and where your coming from. BUT this has been well thought out and work really well (so far). If I could get a seat tube bolt on clamp (for front mechs) I would use one as the cable stop give a shockingly bad line and rubs the cable on the end of the stop.

Is that the VN Euros ade? I hired one whilst on holiday in Majorca, VERY nice bike.

Not enough deep carbon rims in this thread for my liking.

So here's another (now with sexy-black bar tape):

Another Devonshire road bike.

[img] [/img]

Steel tubes, carbon forks, 50/34 compact front, 9 spd 11-32 rear.
Added wrongness from Midge bars, Dura-Ace 8-spd hubs & bar-end shifters, XT mechs and pedals. Saddle bag, including keeping the spare tube outside the bag. (Bikepacking style rackless seat-bag on order for winter).

Very comfortable thanks. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Compact on the front and 12-25 on the rear in 10sp flavor.

Feel free to post as many comments about the patio/wall/stones, it's not my house

Partial rule 45 violation...

...but the missing 5mm spacer saves 2 grams (and therefore a rule 3 violation?) 8)

Don't worry, I don't care what the masses think <3

If bikely wasn't the worst site ever, this might work.

http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Two-Bridges523213

My favourite Dartmoor route at the moment, but I've only done it anticlockwise, been meaning to do it the other way. So could meet you at bovey, up hay tor, widecombe in the moor, two bridges, optional pricetown loop, moretonhampstead, and then you could cut down south just after to take you back to chudleigh, then bovey. For you, should be about ~48 miles, and I'd guess about 1400m of climbing. Very steady pace, riding to a heart rate at the moment. Wrap up warm, and go when the weathers clear. Thinking sunday would be best.

Unless you've got another loop in mind? - I'm easy ๐Ÿ˜‰

Realman - yeah thats my decent training run i.e. 4+ hours ๐Ÿ™‚ (not I am not super fast)

TBH I have done it clockwise and anti-clockwise and its best clockwise ๐Ÿ™‚

I usually go down the valley to Chudleigh as its a nicer run than the Moreton road ๐Ÿ™‚

Anythime is fine but yeas dry and low wind is preferable - done it in blowey and mankey weather and it s horrible out on the moor!

BTW I prefer to go up the back lanes to Haytor (Via Green Lane) - nicer and less busy ๐Ÿ™‚

My first road bike in 20years, courtesy of C2W and Epic Cycles (lovely shop, lovely people as opposed to my clichey disinterested local Orbea dealer) sorting me out with an ex-display with upgraded wheels at a scheme-friendly price. The best looking bike I own, which I never thought I'd hear myself say about a darkside, but then I am a sucker for white bikes...

Read the velominati rules, but as I've only just bought a none-baggy jersey and still ride it with MTB SPDs and non-shaven legs my roadie mates see me as a partial conversion ๐Ÿ™‚

(low res pic, godawful lawn and patio)

If you look closely they have also smeared poo on the sidewalls of the tyres. Moral of the story, never leave your bike unattended with a 1 year old ๐Ÿ˜†

Think you should have bought a bigger frame size, you've too much seat post out there, must be well past minimum insert line! ๐Ÿ˜†
