[Closed] is it as simple as putting a small ring up front?

I have this crank http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/CSFSGCC/fsa_gossamer_cyclo_cross_chainset_megaexo

36/46

I'm thinking a 34/46 might be a better option for me.

can I simply buy a 34ring to replace the 36???

if so where and what brand rings are good?

cheers

It'll be a regular compact 110mm BCD - any old 34t should fit, eg http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/SearchResults.aspx?Search=compact+chainring
...handy for that classic cx race you were asking about ๐Ÿ™‚

is it just a case of undoing the bolts, sliding the old ring over the crank and replacing?

I dont have to take the bb out do I?
