I understand that some might say they can be a bit fragile but are they really that bad?

Any other issues with the frame / rp23 shock?

They had some quality trouble (the owner of the company admitted as much) that resulted in frame failures, and some crooked/misaligned frames. Think they've improved somewhat, so depends how old the frame is. That said, I have mates riding them very happily with zero issues.

My mate had an 09 Tracer, bought second hand, rode for a few months then it snapped at the chainstay on a small compression, the tyre also buzzed the seat tube at full compression. He did like it though and replaced with a new tracer 2. Personally I'd avoid the older ones. It didn't even go at the weld.
