Or you could go for a SC BLT2 which is basically the same bike - the two have a technology sharing agreement. About the same as Audi A3 vs VW Golf in the car world

I've been keeping an eye out for a SS frame. CRC have them on "SALE!!" at £1728.99 (RRP £1729.00).

I was in Moonglu in Ripon the other day, they have a 09 tracer with 200 quid off...

http://moonglu.com/product.aspx?id=485

Sadly their SS has a 150mm back end and is red.

i hav'nt seen any deals on tracers, but some one off bargains on spyders, 5.5 and 6.6 if you look about.

more regular deals seem to be at north west mountain bike centre.

No dramas,I hoep something comes up for you but FWIW my 5.5 is awesome, and still is be despite the Tracer - have to remember that the 5.5 hasn't got any worse because of the new bike's arrival 😉

dibs when you sell it after 2 rides, as it doesn't suit your big mountain slopestyle knarlcore

Hora, don't know about Intense deals, but with SC if you go to a decent LBS they will not give much discount on the frame, but you can negotiate on the build kits plus some free kit. If Intense work the same way it would be worth trying. BTW, agree that that frame in red looks the dogs danglers

Hi Hora
I've got a one year old Intense 5.5 EVP frame for
sale - it's large and Intense red and fairly similar to the Tracer. Excellent condition, any good to you?
send me your e-mail and I'll send you some photos

Cost me £1500 last year from Cycleworks Leatherhead - would accept £750. Excellent condition just had the bearings replaced by cycleworks - all receipts

I know of a shop that is looking to become an intense dealer and may sell you one cheaper as they will have a lot of money tied up in buy in stock.

Drop me an email hardcoreporn@hotmail.com

Certini in Plymouth were doing deals on Tracers at below list if you paid up front - i.e. not interest free. They were doing list on interest free.

All gone up by £200 now though I think...

Re: Intense v Santa Cruz - there's MUCH more to bikes than basic similarities in suspension platform! Geometry for a start 🙂

I have a slopestyle if that's any help. Not selling it, though, just thought everyone might like to know.
