[Closed] Insuring a converted van - any suggestions for an insurance company?

Hi, I'm in the process of buying a Transit van for lugging bikes around in, I was going to remove the bulkhead and put another couple of seats in.

Who is good in the insurance world for modified vehicles these days? It takes about 30 mins to get all your details into one of their systems so I'm trying find the lowest cost with least effort (as always!).

Suggestions welcome please!

Iain

Define modified? As soon as I mentioned "leisure battery" every insurer went "does not compute"

Thumbs up for Aviva too. Not just on price but ease of accessing documents and live chat if you need to speak to them.

Brentacre. Used them for the last 7 or so years for all my cars from standard cheapo runabouts to modified stuff including my T5 which is a little bit non-standard.
