Following on from my post earlier this week, I now have a Rainier Gen 3 post, a Loam lever, an I-spec EV adapter and a cable - great service from Traildogz!

My question now is - is it likely that I'll have to remove the BB to fit the cable? It's on a Scalpel HT, in the incredibly unlikely event that someone on here has done this before.

TIA

Probably not, but it might be easier on some frames if you do. Mostly I use a bent coat-hanger to hook the cable up into the seat-tube. Does the job, if a bit faffy.

Either bent coat hanger as above, or a vacuum cleaner down your seat tube to encourage the inner or some string/dental floss to navigate around your bb, then thread the outer over that.

OK, coat hanger did the trick, thanks!

@mulv1976, the English in the description for that kit is, um, interesting. Intimate design! And I'm still not really sure what a quick traction rubble adapter is, but I'm glad to hear that it was useful.
