[Closed] Increase Fork Travel = decrease in steerer length?

Thinking about a 10mm increase in fork travel but wondering as it will slacken the bike whether dropping the steerer length by the same would give me the best of both worlds? I'm sure this is a stupid question and happy to be shot down in flames!!!!

Eh? You mean reduce your bar height by removing a few spacers?

Adding a 10*cm to the fork will take off half a degree on the head angle. Lowering your bar won't affect the head angle, but it will perhaps keep your bar height the same as previously

Think you over thinking it...its only a 10mm increase, even less with sag

That's exactly what 1mm, 2mm and 5mm headset spacer are for.
