unless I was getting a custom made one I'd stick with a slotted Inbred. Can't go wrong really.
BTW the steel one is stiffer under pedalling and will fit bigger tyres a bit more comfortably than the Ti.

If I could afford it, a Spot. As much because it can be built as a belt-drive, which I really like the idea of. They're also beautiful bikes.

Another vote for the Singular Swift; beautifully thought out and finished frames designed by a bloke who really has a passion for the genre and supports the 'community'

I dunno about £350?

It was £700 new about 18 months ago and is in excellent condition.

The frame is too small for me.

i've got two sir9's and love them. however, i wouldn't recommend them to a heavy rider unless you like a very flexy bike. (i'm assuming you're looking for one)

out of interest, why not?
I ride the ti 29er and love it. I rode the steel version first to size it up. Its light, flies up hills and feels very stable down.

seen a couple of ti bikes break (not on one), they are expensive often flexy and i dont like the look of the on one ti, loads of steel bikes ride better, cheaper, stronger with a slight weight penalty

edit, remember its gota be a ton proof bike

I tried for ages to get an Optimus. Got fed up with lack of communication from Vassago about when they might/might not produce some more 🙁
I loved my Jabberwocky, but then had a (steel) On-one to compare - the Inbred 29er suffered fewer pedal strikes and spun out less on (ss) climbs.
