which would it be................. ❓
on one ti
unless I was getting a custom made one I'd stick with a slotted Inbred. Can't go wrong really.
BTW the steel one is stiffer under pedalling and will fit bigger tyres a bit more comfortably than the Ti.
custom.
.. or Singular Swift.. or Niner SIR9
on one ti
If I could afford it, a Spot. As much because it can be built as a belt-drive, which I really like the idea of. They're also beautiful bikes.
I've already got it......
Don't you already have a SS 29er?
not a ss ss29r, a bodged one..
I got a cheap GF Rig. It's ace.
A red one
i would have a look on ebay for a gt peace 9r frame and forks 😀
on-one ti
Singular Swift. Beutiful.
I have a purple 2007 kona unit 2-9er 16" frame for sale 🙂
i had a singular swift which was lovely also had a cheap rig and couldnt fault it 🙂
aw, how much?
Another vote for the Singular Swift; beautifully thought out and finished frames designed by a bloke who really has a passion for the genre and supports the 'community'
Singular Swift. Had one, loved it, will probably get another.
I dunno about £350?
It was £700 new about 18 months ago and is in excellent condition.
The frame is too small for me.
Too much, by about £300 🙁
i've got two sir9's and love them. however, i wouldn't recommend them to a heavy rider unless you like a very flexy bike. (i'm assuming you're looking for one)
on one ok but not titanium! i'd rather have carbon
if you was gonna buy a ss 29r bike??????
I'd step outside and have a serious word with myself
aw is that for a complete bike if so could you send a pic or 2 to martin_varey@yahoo.com
on one ok but not titanium!
out of interest, why not?
I ride the ti 29er and love it. I rode the steel version first to size it up. Its light, flies up hills and feels very stable down.
seen a couple of ti bikes break (not on one), they are expensive often flexy and i dont like the look of the on one ti, loads of steel bikes ride better, cheaper, stronger with a slight weight penalty
edit, remember its gota be a ton proof bike
what i still might have coming, a Gary Fisher Superfly SS..........
Jones space frame. love em...
I tried for ages to get an Optimus. Got fed up with lack of communication from Vassago about when they might/might not produce some more 🙁
I loved my Jabberwocky, but then had a (steel) On-one to compare - the Inbred 29er suffered fewer pedal strikes and spun out less on (ss) climbs.
