No probs, good luck with the sale.

Coogan, do you use the u turn or leave the things set at 160mm?

Just wondering which to get, U-turn revs or fixed travel dual air. i'm sure i read that the 5 spot doesn't squat too much when climbing hence a longer fork is OK

Climbs brilliantly. Hardly ever turn them down, but on really steep stuff then will do.

Gray, pray tell how much filthy lucre would you require to take ownership of your Mojo.

The got white at CRC in 2009 model. 17" any good? £1200, bit of a bargain that.

You could always chuck some paint stripper at it.

TBH any colour is better than that girly blue.

17" is probably no good for me i'm only 5'4" and have an inside leg of 27.5".

although there is only a 1/2" difference in TT so that means running a slightly shorter stem.

May be worth a punt.

No get white, I've a white DW flux & its really nice.

If your little why not try a flux with a 120mm fork?
An all mountain flux! Dave Turner liked it when he rode it, read what he said.

I thought it looked a bit 'weak' for want of a better term.

but it wouldn't do for us all to like the same thing

No, not yet, 5 spot is the one I'm afraid, the benefit of bushes etc plus the stiffness is what has sold it.

I think i'm just about to press the button on the Bright Yellow one at CRC.

Unless a couple of inquiries bear fruit on a 2010 one in raw finish. 8)

BFe has gone, Soul is still in the Garage, but sold. Just weighing up what colour of new Soul to buy, bright Orange or Black? 🙄

What about you? convinced Sam about new forks yet?

and are you riding this week?

Mailed you last Friday at your profile e mail but got no response

[s]I'll mail you from work now.[/s] phoned instead, much prefer to talk to somebody

what are the 2010 stock colours?

Now't wrong with the Soul, but I'm using 140mm forks and Cy don't like it.

so whilst i'm at it I'm changing that as well, only for another new one though.

....working from home today but Joey or one of the other guys should be able to help!!

2011 (or 2010.5 if you like) colour options are Raw, Capsicum Red (full, including rear triangle)....or Metallic Graphite.....should have images of the Raw and Graphite up on our facebook site as I type!!

The guys are just checking availability and will get back to you shortly!!

Really impressed with them....moreso than I expected!!

Pushed the button yet?
I decided with the 5 Spot over the Tracer - Wheelbase didn't have a 5spot to try so I'm not sure about sizing now

Hijack
What size for 5'8" person?

I agree about the blue 5 spot, I looked at that small one at Merlin, few blemished as well as breing a rubbish colout, raw is best followed by the graphite one!

I'm 5'6" with long legs and ride a medium, so would have a thought a that'd be best bet for 5'8". Anyway you can get a test ride or at least swing a leg over one?

Dave,

Looks like I was late with this post! Last year I changed my X5 and went with a Knolly Endorphin. The 4x4 linkage pedals excellently and its everybit as stiff as my old X5. Still love Ventana (and have an El Salt which is a rocket) but did fancy a change. Nice standover too especially on the smaller sizes 8)

Knolly have been great with CS and I have a few diffent bits on there, like you used to with the X5 - running 140mm Pike or Lyrik U-turn coil. Currently 1x9 and loving it.

Just a suggestion - good luck!

PS - you selling the X5?

@ 5' 8" I'd probably put you on a Medium with a 50mm stem.....I'm 5' 11" and am about to set the shop demo up with a 65mm stem......@ 580mm EFT the Medium is fairly standard in the cockpit really (similar to Meta 5, Stereo etc)...

Anyone near Sheff is more than welcome to take out our demo!! (it's also going to be my personal bike so will be running 1 x 10 speed Shim stuff with a 36T rear!!)....

Good call on the Knolly btw....Noel knows his shizzel and the bikes are built to last!!....I'm waiting on a couple of the large travel frames at the moment!!

Buy my Medium in iron Glimmer, excellent condition as 1 of 4 bikes, 1 year old, running an rp23, lovely bike but just bought another Nicolai.

£1000 posted - only here until next Tuesday as returning to Malaysia.

Bit cheeky buy you never know!

cheers

Needs to be a small for me i'm afraid, but sound perfect for yoshimi.

I found that 'singletrackmonkey' was considering selling his/her small one in grey a couple of weeks back, but can't see a contact details anywhere.

Anybody know them?

Long shot I know but worth a punt.

Not yet, just been to Merlins tonight for some boots and he says he will do the small blue 09 one for £1300 if I want it.

It's not really the colour I wanted but at that prce I don't think I can refuse it.

I have made my mind up though and it's definitely going to be a Turner.

Especially as it's nearly a grand less than the Mojo HD.

I'm very keen to hear your thoughts on it.

Sorry Ton, but I have been on one for the past 5 years, just fancy a change

I feel bad for not buying another from Alan at Rriverside, he is such a nice guy to deal with and a true gent, a bit rare nowadays.
