I did that CTC competition on here a few weeks back - and they emailed today to say I've won a on-on-one skills course at Firecrest MTB, to be taken at Aston Hill.

Can't wait! Now what to choose - jumps and drops? Downhill racing? Enduro?

Well done mate.
If it was me I'd spend the whole day learning to jump.
Looks great when done properly, but I'm totally rubbish.

Yeah - I've done some jumping with Jedi, but this is at Aston Hill, with the 4x track - be nice to work on stringing a few together at pace.

will be fantastic, heard good things about Firecrest Trg.

What time's it all going on? I tried to ring Ian but I haven't got through yet, haven't heard anything since the initial "you won!" email. But yeah, if it's in the afternoon I'll definitely be there a bit earlier for a bit of riding first. [s]Probably break myself in the first ten minutes and have to stop for the day.[/s]

1:30-4:30 according to the email I got today.

My email Is in profile if you want to meet up - not ridden at Aston before so would be good to get an idea before the afternoons riding.

Ah, I've not received one yet but my email does seem very tardy generally for receiving messages. I'll drop you a line, I've not been there before either, it's been on my hitlist for ages and circumstances never quite aligned.

1.30-4.30,
Would love to do a lap before hand but I'm driving down from Nottingham and I'm short for time already.

What sort of level are we all at?
